Throwback Thursday "Cricut~less" Challenge! - Episode~128

The challenge at Emmas, My Creative Time, is to create a project the old fashion way, "Cricut~less". Turned out to be more of a challenge than I thought. The project also needed to consist of some kind of Thank-You. The base of my card is a cream color cardstock. The sunflower boarder along the side was cut from a wallpaper sample that I had picked up in town one day. I placed a little brown button on a frindge flower that I had made, added a stem and leaves. Looking just a little plain I added the little yellow ribbon.

This weeks challenge over at Emma's, My Creative Time, is a Christmas theme. Not having the Celebration cartridge I had to make do with what I had. I really wanted to make a snowflake, but found that none of the cartridges that I have had a snowflake. What I did find was a leaf on Home Accents with the cut for the veins. With a little glitter, a few pearl embellishment, a scrap piece of ribbon and the Cuttlebug's snowflake embossing folder my card was complete.

Emma's Throwback Thursday

I am so glad that Emma decided to do a sports theme for her Throwback Thursday. My nephew is turning 7 and his birthday party is next weekend and he loves to golf. So, I made him a golf card using Everday Paper Dolls.

For Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge I made this Birthday Card:

My card is a 41/4 x 51/2 and I used the Cricut Cartridge
Stretch your Imagination for both my birthday cake and
tag. The stamp I used came from Joanns. I needed a
birthday card for my uncle so I knew I needed to make
it masculine card! These are my hardest!!!!

Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge!! This is my project:

For this challenge I used the cart. Wild Card. I used the card on page 69 and also my design studio to change the circle cutout to the ornament on page 74. I used clear thread to hang the ornament so it would move within the cutout.

MPS- Color Challenge

This is what I came up with for the color challenge over at My Pink Stamper! Trying to incorporate the orange was difficult for me. I used the cricut cartridge Serenade to make my card.

My Throwback Thursday Challenge Project

My niece recently had a baby boy at the beginning of this month and I have been working on a scrapbook for her so she just has to put the pictures in. For these two pages I used cricut cartridges Dress up paper dolls, Plantin Schoolbook and home accents. You really cannot see but on the rocking horse I used some kind of string that I found in my daughter's jewelry making supplies from about 5 years ago to make the hair on his tail.
